Problem

Whenever you doubleclick a graph to edit it, you get a message indicating that Office is installing Microsoft Graph and have to wait while the installer does stuff behind the scenes. You can't edit the graph until it's finished doing whatever it's doing.

Solution

A PowerPoint 2003 user on the newsgroup reports that he solved the problem by removing and reinstalling Microsoft Graph. Here's the procedure he used:
