Error message: Microsoft Office PowerPoint can't display clip art.
After installing the SP2 update for Office 2003, when you start PowerPoint, you see this message or one similar to it:
Microsoft Office PowerPoint can't display clip art.
This feature is not available. To make the feature available, ...
You may see this error message after installing Service Pack 2 (SP2) if you haven't installed Clip Art.
The error only occurs when the Drawing toolbar is visible.
MS is aware of the problem and is working on a hotfix but in the meantime, here are two workarounds:
- Install Clipart
- Hide the Drawing toolbar (choose View, Toolbars and remove the checkmark next to "Drawing". The Drawing toolbar is visible by default but once you hide it, it will stay hidden.
